Scan the job posting for keywords
Start by highlighting all the skills and experience you find in the offer.

Finish with coping skills. These are usually translated into adjectives such as “ambitious” and “diligent” that you can use to describe yourself.

Add facts and figures to attract attention.
Draw attention to the skills you consider most important using numbers and other details. The more specific you can be, the more you can show how you have used these skills in the past. Facts and figures have the following two advantages:
- The figures are clear from the document and are easy to read.
- The details mentioned make it easier for recruiters to imagine that you will produce similar results in the future. For example, do not write “customer service”, but rather “reduces returns by 10% through effective customer service”.
Don’t make the mistake of sending a general introduction letter
Yes, you still need to send a cover letter. And you also need to personalize it according to the job offer.
Add keywords to your letter, but do not copy the content of your CV. Your letter should complement and enhance your CV.
